Split of Karuna Amman an important aspect in the failure of LTTE. Karuna gave the vital information to the Govt. Further, the Tsunami crippled the hopes of the great Prabhakaran. Prabha totally demoralized and lost all his hope with both the incidents.

Other things like 9/11 after these two things for the failure of ltte.

Srilankan tamils lived honestly and peacefully in Prabha’s reign. Sense of belongingness remained. Prabha took up arms for srilankan tamils and died for them. Whatever atrocities ltte might have done, now the worst is happening against tamils.

God! how srilankan tamils can achieve freedom. It seems, it never happens unless and until diaspora persistenly and consistently bring the world attention for Srilankan state terrorism & the plight of tamils there.

DBSJ, I agree the article is a good one it speaks the truth. While it paints the cruelty of the Pottu it leads some of the readers to miss interpret that the LTTE did more atrocities than GOSL.

I am against the most of the LTTEs actions, but still I supported them over GOSL. Because GOSL did even more than those by LTTE. It is like choosing from bad and worse. Therefore when you are writing such articles please mention some of the related atrocities by GOSL too. So that the readers will not be miss led.
